Information we collect

When you submit an event inquiry, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number (if provided).
• Event details, including the date, location, occasion, and requested installations.
• Messages, preferences, and other information you choose to provide.
• Inspiration photos and other images you upload.

Our inquiry form provider, Basin, may also process technical information associated with your submission, such as your IP address, approximate location, browser, and device information.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to inquiries, discuss event details, prepare estimates, coordinate bookings, and provide related customer service.

Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in promotional emails. We will not send marketing emails unless you separately choose to receive them.

Services that process information

We use Basin to receive and manage website inquiries, including uploaded images. Basin processes submission information on our behalf.

We use Gmail to receive notifications and communicate with customers.

Our website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information associated with requests to our website to deliver and protect the site.

We do not plan to use additional website analytics, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers at launch.

Photos and attachments

Photos you upload help us understand your event and design preferences.

Our inquiry service is configured to provide secure attachment links that require authorized Basin access. We do not intentionally publish customer-submitted photos through the inquiry form.

Some uploaded images may be sent in their original format and may contain embedded information, such as the location where a photo was taken.

Up & Up may photograph and document its completed balloon installations for use in our website portfolio, social media, advertising, and other promotional materials, subject to applicable rights, privacy requirements, and any restrictions agreed upon with the customer.

Customers may request that their event remain private by contacting Up & Up in writing before the event. We will honor agreed privacy restrictions.

Photos and inspiration images submitted through our inquiry form are used to understand and plan your event. Submitting an image does not grant Up & Up permission to publish or commercially reuse that image.

Photography involving identifiable individuals, private events, or third-party materials may require additional permission.

How long we keep information

Our Basin inquiry form is configured to retain submissions for 365 days.

Email correspondence and booking records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for customer service, business operations, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations.

Sharing and protecting information

We use service providers as needed to operate our website, receive inquiries, and communicate with customers.

We do not use inquiry submissions to sell customer contact lists or enroll customers in third-party marketing programs.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information entrusted to us. However, no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy questions

You can contact us to ask about the personal information you have provided, request a correction, or request deletion, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.
